Our vision at Inspiration Life Community Church is to inspire every man to seek to know God intimately and strive to show God distinctly to his world through the unique gifts within him. We had our first meeting – a Saturday ‘Vision Casting cum prayer’ meeting on the 18th of July, 2015 at the 805 Restaurant, Wuse II, Abuja. There were about 19 people in attendance. That weekend, we commenced morning prayers every Saturday until our first Sunday service.
On the 13th of September, 2015, we had our first Sunday service at the NAF Conference Center and Suites, Jahi. It was an evening service themed, ‘The Birthing Service.” Pastor Godwin Uwubamien of ‘The Treasure House’, Abuja, led us in the prayers of dedication.
Four years later, we have grown into a congregation of 550+ members and counting.
On this occasion of our 4th anniversary celebration, we offer heartfelt thanks to God for the countless miracles He has wrought amongst us, souls that have been added to the kingdom, safe deliverer of children, marriages that have been contracted, lives that have been transformed and especially for our Lead Pastor and his dear wife – Pastor Wale & Uduak Afelumo for their relentlessness in seeking to do the will of God, their exemplary leadership, the sacrifices they make in running with ILCC’s vision, and the passion they display in inspiring people to be their best.
God has done amazing things in our midst in these four years and we are glad; but, this is just the beginning. Our paths will shine brighter as we continue towards the glorious future God has preordained for us. He is perfecting everything that concerns us.
